our story

Potomac Waves Media opened its doors in 2008, after our co-founder Sharon White Páez decided to start an African American radio firm in response to a lack of outreach to the community by major campaigns. Over the years, our firm slowly transformed into what it is today. For more than a decade, we have been placing and producing advertisements reaching communities of color across the country and now, we have added general market audiences to our repertoire, creating some of the most cutting edge paid media campaigns, helping to deliver the margin of victory for some of that nation’s highest office holders.
